Finished _Bears Discover Fire_, by Terry Bisson a couple days ago.
It's a collection of short stories (one of which is "Bears Discover Fire") by the author. Many of them are good.
I've almost finished reading http://www.rpi.edu/~daniek/crc/story.html too.
