The last few days I've been kind of flitting between one thing and another, trying to make something. What I've been trying to make has varied.
Tonight, it was some video. A short video with no plot, no action, and almost no sound. It's sort of like a test run of some tools.

I started trying to do something with the camcorder but it rapidly became clear I couldn't come up with anything to do that I would be able to post tonight. I haven't given up on it. The rules I set out under, though, required that I post something tonight, so I had to revise my plan a little. The surprising thing is it still took like two hours to make that. But I learned stuff. Most of it only applies to pulling video out of video games and boils down to finding the right tool. That video comes out of World of Warcraft.
But it's a start. It can only get better from there, right? Wrong. Pulling video out of games means not having to worry about shooting video at all.
