I hadn't used semagic in long enough that windows had taken it off my 'top 20 frequently used programs' list in the start menu.
Something worse than moving to Santa Barbara (or Goleta, as the case may be): *Not* moving yet but still living there. I need to see about moving all my stuff. The new apartment here .. echos. It turns out I get along pretty well without, well, virtually all my stuff. Unfortunately, the fact that the impending move is still hanging over me is not so good.
We launched the new site. Hooray. It turns out: despite the hours, despite the stress, I still really, really like launching things. And seeing log entries and load meters and whatnot light up las people use them. And I like having a running, live service that people use. And I *like* having the initial comments be things like: it's a lot faster/better/stronger than the old site.
